What we are
PushFTP is a file transfer relay. You send files to us via API, we forward them to your server. We're based in the Netherlands.
What we collect
- Account: your email and a hashed password.
- Connections: server hostnames, ports, usernames. Passwords and keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage.
- Transfer logs: filenames, paths, sizes, timestamps, and status. We do not store the file contents themselves.
Cookies & analytics
- Essential cookie: a session cookie to keep you logged in. No consent needed.
- Analytics: if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how people use PushFTP. This sets cookies from Google.
- If you click "Decline", no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
- Your preference is stored in a
cookie_consentcookie for 1 year.
What we don't do
- We don't store your files. They pass through and are forwarded immediately.
- We don't sell or share your data.
Where data is stored
Our server is in a Hetzner data center in Germany (EU). We use Cloudflare for traffic protection.
Your rights
You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time. Contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
